You will be running A LOT.) Ring of Life (Self explanitory) BEFORE YOU START: The tombs and tunnels in here will seriously degrade your prayer over time, even if it's turned off. Always leave your tunnel until the end. Set effects work here now. P1. DHAROK Basically the main thing to do is keep your prayer up. Protect from melee is a must. Get your Slayer Dart ready and go down, then turn protect from melee on. Dharoks set effect can be EXTREMELY dangerous. As long as he's standing make sure you have enough prayer to last. Once he's down, turn prayer off, and go up the stairs. Notes: Dharok can hit extremely high when he's low HP with his set effect. You can wear dragonhide and prayer book with Dharok for an extra prayer/mage boost. P2. KARIL Alright, Karil can be annoying. Before you dig on his grave, take out DDP(S), turn it's special attack on, and go down. Turn Range Protect Prayer on, then search the tomb, unleash a barrage of special attacks on Karil, pull out the your Dragon Scimitar (Or Whip), and just melee Karil till he dies. Notes: Karil can lower your agility level immensly with his set effect. P3. VERAC If you have any remaining prayer from Karil, use it here. Turn Melee Protect on and dig. So leave your melee-resistant gear on, and get your Slayer Dart ready. Watch your HP and knock him down. When you're done, go up the stairs. Notes: Verac can hit through prayer, and even armour with his set effect. P4. GUTHAN You can just go through Guthan the same way you did with Verac. With Slayer dart ready, and your melee-resistant gear on, start on Guthan. When finished, go up the stairs. Notes: Guthan can heal himself, and damage you with his set effect. P5. AHRIM Ahrim is weak to range attacks, so put on your dragonhide armour, and your Magic Shortbow/Karils Crossbow. When equipped, head down to Ahrim. Going through Verac and Guthan should have given your special bar enough time to recover. So if you have Magic Shortbow, get your special ready, and attack him. If you have Karils Crossbow, whip out your Dragon Dagger first, and use those specials on him. Pull out Karils Crossbow and range through Ahrim. Notes: Ahrim uses Fire Wave, and his set effect can lower your strength, as well as his other spells, such as confuse, and weaken. P6. TORAG Torag is considered the easiest of the brothers, however should not be taken lightly, he has pretty high defence, and can hits 20s. Get your melee-resistant gear on and get Slayer Dart ready, then attack him. When you're finished, head to your tunnel. Notes: Torags special ability lowers your energy. Congratulations! you've defeated 5/6 of the Barrows Brothers! But it's not over yet, it's time for your tunnel. P7. TUNNEL This can be a little tiring, as there are a ton of skeletons, spiders, and rats or a Brother could appear. They can hit up to 7. Non-multi area thankfully. Melee-Brother Strategy: From here, if you have a melee brother as your tunnel foe, it's best to click on the only openable door, until he comes out. If you can get him in the first room, try to trap him behind the ladder, if you can't, then try to go as far to the side as possible. If you can get them in the long tunnel room, then you can trap them behind the rock, Slayer Dart them until they're KO'ed. Continued later. Note: You cannot get a Melee-Brother stuck on the East Long Tunnel, he will just vanish. Missile-Brother Strategy: So you got Karil or Ahrim, you can't trap these brothers, so it's best to just attack them as you would. For Karil, use Dragon Dagger specials and Dragon Scimitar (Whip) and kill him, BE SURE TO WATCH HEALTH!! For Ahrim, depending on how much food you have left, just attack him as you would have. Race to the Chest: If you have defeated your Barrows brothers, congratulations! It's time to get your reward. If not, that's okay. Basically the doors are like a maze, you gotta figure out how to get to the chest, door routes change every trip. Just navigate through until you get to a puzzle-door. And answer the puzzle correctly, although with all the skeletons, spiders, and rats it can be a pain, don't panic, just try to time it well. Surprise at the chest: Now if you haven't fought your foe yet, now is the time they'll appear. Before searching the chest, prepare for the battle with whoever's left. Dharok is probably the worst Brother you can face here, as his set effect will hit HIGH. So here's how you get past this: Dharok: Protect from melee, and Slayer Dart him, with your melee-resistant gear. Make sure your prayer never runs out, or you will die. If needed, use your remaining prayer potion doses. Verac: Depending on how much food you have left, you may need to pray. If not, melee-resistant gear on, and Slayer Dart him. Guthan: Melee-resistant gear on, and Slayer Dart him. Torag: Melee-resistant gear on, and Slayer Dart him. Now it's time to claim your reward: Please stay calm if you don't get what you want. Open the chest, and search it, when the room shakes, don't worry, that's supposed to happen when you searched the chest. If the room isn't shaking, you haven't searched the chest properly. Rewards: Rewards can include Coins, Mind & Death Runes, Chaos Runes, Blood Runes, Bolt Racks, and any random Barrows Armour. The following has been verified by Jagex: Killing Rats, Skeletons, Bloodworms, and Spiders WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCE OF A BARROW ITEM!! Killing all 6 brothers WILL increase your chances! Kill Count determines if you get any more Runes, Coins, or Bolt Racks, not any Barrow Items. Preparing for another trip: What I like to do is house teleport, recharge my prayer at my altar, and then Kharyll (Canafis) teleport back, taking me to Canafis pub. I deposit my unneeded loot into my bank, and load up for another trip. Then I go behind the pub, to the basement, and through the secret entrance to Mortanyia (Requires In Search of the Myreque Quest) Running from there, I go up the tree, and across the bridge, to the boat, leading to west of the Barrows.
